「人山人海」一詞是否令你聯想到香港這座城市？人潮湧動，熙來攘往，時刻步履匆匆。然而這裏隨處是山海。它可以成為一個契機，讓人們得以暫時從熙攘的人群中抽離，融入山海環抱。

 

作為一個全球性的藝術專案，慢速藝術日有一個非常簡單的宗旨：幫助更多人發現和欣賞藝術的樂趣。在中環岸邊，你或許乘著小輪低頭看報，不曾留意海畔碼頭旁的香港海事博物館；又或許在港大校園抱著書本步履匆匆，無心關注林間小道旁的美術博物館。今年，慢速藝術日恰將在這兩處，依山傍海，邀請您慢下來……

此次慢速藝術日的活動將於2019年4月6日在香港大學美術博物館與香港海事博物館舉行，分别以「悠然見」和「人·海」作為活動的主題。

 

Will it remind you of the city of Hong Kong when you read the term ‘people mountain people sea’? Packed with crowded people, Hong Kong is not just hustling and bustling, but also possessing picturesque mountains and seas where citizens may have a chance to withdraw from a fast-paced life, and turn to embrace the scenery of mountains and seas. As a global art event, Slow Art Day responds to the simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art. Alongside the bank of Central, you may take a ferry to read the newspaper and you have not noticed the Hong Kong Maritime Museum nearby; or you may run with books in campus to neglect the University Museum and Art Gallery in the University of Hong Kong. However, you are encouraged to slow down to visits these two museums on this Slow Art Day.

 

This program will kick off on the 6th April 2019, including two thematic activities ‘in-Visible’: and ‘Human × Sea’.
