立於博物館落地窗前，眼前的海岸成了不得不直面的矛盾體：我們在海洋擴張土地，尋得了發展，也觸發了問題。本部分基於填海造陸引發的海岸線變化，試著從批判的角度看待人類與海洋的依存關係，讓參觀者對腳下每一平方公里的海都保持敬畏和深思。
When we look out of the viewing window, we see that the coast has become a contradiction: we expanded our civilization into the sea to seek development, yet we triggered new problems. Based on the changes in coastline caused by land reclamation, this section takes a critical look at the interdependence between humans and the sea to keep us in awe and contemplation towards every bit of the sea under our feet.

展品介紹：窗外的海和船，只見其畫不聞其聲。此景可變為一部參觀者可以通過不同聲音對眼前海洋進行不同解讀的「默片」：自然和諧期（海風、浪濤聲）和自然改造期（填海工程轟鳴）。面向臨海落地窗，參觀者可通過聲音裝置，感受不同時期大海的聲音，來思考人與海不同的共存階段。
At the window, viewers can observe the coast without hearing the sea. This scenario can be perceived as a silent film to think critically about how humans and the sea are related . Through headphones, viewers can listen to two different sounds: gentle ocean waves, and the roar of machines reclaiming land. By hearing humans taking charge of the sea and expanding the coastline, viewers can feel the different stages of interdependence between humans and the sea.

展品介紹：七十年代维港海岸地圖，與一張当今地图重疊，形成填人工海岸變遷的對比，展現填海造陸的所帶來的變化，包括隨之消逝的參觀者記憶。參觀者們可以通過貼紙標記他們曾經遊覽、居住、或是記憶最深刻的地方，並寫下對這塊區域的記憶或對此變化的感想，來重新思考海洋與土地之間的關係。
By overlaying the 1970s and 2019 maps of Victoria Harbour on a canvas, the change of the coastlines from then to now are presented, including the fading public memories. Viewers are encouraged to mark a spot where they used to visit, live or have an interesting a story to tell and write their thoughts about the changing coastline on a piece of memo paper, as a way to rethink the relation between the land and the sea.
